WINTERGUARD

Indoor Winterguard combines the Color Guard skills of flag, mock sabre, and mock rifle drills with choreographed dance and theatrics. Winterguard teams attend local competitions where they perform against other guard teams at their level. N8 is the West Windsor Recreation Department sponsored team. No prior experience is necessary. The Novice group consists of mostly beginner members and the Regional A group competes at a more intermediate level. Costumes and equipment are provided. The new member fee includes a member jacket.

Meet coaches. Learn about the program. Experience the strategy & excitement of wrestling.

Objectives: Kids work with coaches to practice wrestling moves, discover the connection between mental strategy and physical action, and let loose with our signature end-of-practice game of dodgeball!

Parent involvement welcome and encouraged. Get on the mat with your child or just learn more during our Q&A session.

Dates:  Wednesday, October 3: 6:30-7:30 p.m.,  Friday, October 5: 6:30pm-7:30 p.m.,  Saturday, October 6: 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Eligibility:  Boys & Girls in grades K-8.
Location:  WW-P High School SOUTH Wrestling Room (entrance at back side of the school by the football field entrance)

Parent involvement welcome and encouraged. No Prior Wrestling Experience needed – just a great way to share the experience!

Key Dates: Online Registration Opens – Tuesday, September 4
Free Clinics – 10/3, 10/5, & 10/6;
First Session – Saturday, November 17 from 9am – 11am
Nov/Dec Sessions – Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:30-8pm; Saturdays 9-11am
Jan/Feb/Mar Sessions – Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:30-8pm; Matches Sunday mornings
