WHALERS SWIMMING/DIVING PROGRAMS  

Whalers Swimming and Diving Team is a recreational summer swim team.  The Whalers have been a member of the Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association (PASDA), competing against teams from Princeton, Hamilton, Flemington, and Pennington areas. The team will utilize WaterWorks Family Aquatic Complex at Community Park for practices and home meets.

Parental involvement is essential to the success of our swimmers’ experience.  Parents are required to volunteer for various activities (timing, marshaling, etc.) during our swimming and diving meets and special events.

Swim team members must be to swim freestyle, backstroke & breaststroke.  Practices are held daily, with groups split according to ability level at the discretion of the Director.  Meets are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as some Saturday mornings.  For those with limited or no competitive experience, stroke clinic is a recommended alternative.

Diving team members must be able to successfully complete a minimum of a jump and two forward dives according to the minimum U.S. Diving/PASDA standards.  Our Diving Coach will conduct evaluation of applicants during the first week of practice.  Meets are held Wednesday evenings and some Saturday mornings.
