Badminton

The High School South Gym will be available for Badminton on Thursday evenings. Registration will be for West Windsor residents first. Shuttlecocks and nets will be provided. Participants must bring their own rackets.

Dates:  Thursdays, September 15 – November 17
Time:  To be determined either 8:00-10:00 pm or 8:30-10:30 pm
Eligibility:  Adults, Ages 18 & up
Location:  WW-P High School South Old Gym, West Windsor
Cost:  $40 per session
NOTE:  Registration is for West Windsor residents first. Registration for the fall session will begin on September 6 for residents of West Windsor (proof of residency will be required). Registration will be in person only. Non-residents may register for the fall session on September 12 (if space is available).

Fencing

This program is designed for both beginners and intermediate level fencing enthusiasts. Here’s a unique opportunity to sharpen your mind and reflexes and stay in shape as well. Our qualified instructors give maximum attention to each student through group training and individual instruction. Learn and practice foil, epee and saber fencing in a friendly and responsible setting. Included are organized bouts that are fun and improve your skills. Basic equipment is provided and a discounted purchase option is also available.

Martial Arts

Master Steven Phillips, a 5th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of martial arts experience, will introduce his traditional martial arts training with a modern teaching method to give students a challenging and rewarding experience. Master Steven studied under Grand Master Ye Bong Choi, a ninth degree black belt and former Korean champion. This course is designed for the beginner level student and will be available only once to each individual. Registration deadline is one week prior to the start of the class.

Beginner Golf Lessons

This five-week program covers all the fundamentals of the game, including proper swing, putting, chipping, sand play, reading the greens, course management and rules. All skill levels are eligible to participate. Equipment will be provided by the Cranbury Golf Club, if necessary. Students should wear loose, comfortable clothing and either golf shoes or sneakers.

Time:  5:00-6:00 pm
Eligibility:  Ages 18 years and up
Location:  Cranbury Golf Club, Southfield Road, West Windsor
Cost:  $95 per person
Note:  Class size is limited to 8 students. Additional classes may be added if needed.

TENNIS LESSONS - REGISTRATION UNDERWAY - CLASSES START SEPT. 12TH

The West Windsor Tennis Program provides Tennis lessons and coaching to children ages 4-17 as well as adults of all abilities. Group as well as private lessons are offered and directed by PTR certified tennis coaches Sat and Sunil Jagtap. The program has three sessions: Spring, Summer, and Fall. All lessons will be held at the Hendrickson Drive Tennis Complex located across from the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in West Windsor, New Jersey.

Lessons are first-come first-serve and many classes fill-up quickly. To avoid disappointment sign-up early!

Co-Ed Volleyball

This popular program features competitive games in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Pick-up games are played on Tuesday evenings at Grover Middle School.

Eligibility:  Adults, ages 18 years and up
Location:  Grover Middle School Gym, New Village Road, West Windsor
Cost:  $3 per person, per night payable at the door
Note:  No program during school closings or school functions that use the gym.
